Teams almost equally shared possession and chances but Cerezo proved why they are top of the League with clinical finishes.
On the other hand S-Pulse although plying wider than usual showed disappointing finish with poor shots from very near their target.
The second half might prove a long road for the locals as Cerezo can afford to see things coming to them!

All in all, S-Pulse deserved their lead against Gamba who didn’t have a single shot at goal.

Shimizu S-Pulse which showed a totally different approach and a new look attack deserved their win although the result might look a little flattering after the heavy pressure soaked in during the second half, but Gamba disappointed.
It seems at last that the future is bright for S-Pulse
